August Inn and August Out
The Inn is pricey at 33 euros for a set 3 course dinner.
We ate at the Out the other lunchtime.
They do a set lunch at 12 euros - rather unusual.
It consisted of a verrine - cold stuff in a jamjar!!!.
Choice of meat, fish or vegetarian.
Interesting flavours and melange.
You are also served another verrine of salad
plus a hunk of good brown bread and a glass of decent wine.
There is a dessert to follow - we had a choice of good homemade, 2 flavours ice cream or a strawberry confection.
As I say, interesting.
Good venue - on Place des Poilous (sp?) - and sitting outside too.
Probably good for a girly lunch to fortify you between shops!

Sounds like the kind of thing the area needs. Which town are they in?
