Can Costa ,Figueres
Another restaurant well worth a visit for those venturing to the Figueres area. Can Costa is on the main NIIa road south out of the town,just before the Figueres South autopista junction and on the right,just after the Bon Retorn Hotel.
There is a reasonably priced and spotlessly clean bar for those just wanting a drink or snack,and a comfortable air conditioned restaurant behind,seving competitively priced fish and meat dishes. There are two menus on offer. The first,at 14€ has a choice of salad,pasta or asparagus as starters,with steaks,chicken or fresh fish as mains. The more sumptuous 21€ offering provided moules marinere, seafood salad ,or a generous helping of Iberico ham,followed by lamb chops,mixed fish, paella or black rice with sepia and gambas. The usual sweets follow,with a generous measure of good quality wine and coffee to drink.
Ample parking,but this gets very busy with locals after 13h30 (always a good sign).
