I am looking for an English speaking dog trainer in the region (preferably the Vallespir) on behalf of a client. Can anyone recommend anyone?
Thanks in advance.

We take our puppy to the doggy training school in Laroque. Really good, and very friendly english and french speaking teachers and students. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Can you give a bit more information about this dog. How old? What breed?
What type of training needed? How much time will the owner spend on this training. I do not think that this can happen in weeks, etc..

Probably best for learning would be joining with a club.

I know a woman who might meet the requirements ~ she does speak some English. She lives a bit passed Ceret. But, this would be training 0ne-to-one and it's going to be expensive.

Does this dog owner speak any French? This is almost needed for club training, I would think.

I think that there's a place in Laroque where some training is happening there. I think some English speaking is happened there too. Maybe you could contact the people there and see what they can do. The place is across the road from the Laroque Dechetterie.

Can you get the information about the dog, since I cannot find a good trainer without the data.

Frank's now bi-lingual French/English. He still can't do as he's told

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm not sure if the dog is bilingual or not but sounds like Laroque is the place and he will soon be! I will direct the client to Laroque - maybe they will see you there Kate.

Are you going to request that the dog be taught in English?

You do realise that will mean always having to speak to it like Inspector Clouseau.
