It is extremely warm and sunny (once the morning mist lifts). I'm tempted to go to the beach for a swim.

I wonder how long it will continue. I heard warnings that we were in for the coldest winter for 100 years.

Two women were swimming in the sea at Argeles on Sunday.........and I don't think they were English!
Beautiful day today, just need the wind to drop a bit, but I'm not complaining.

Double wow! Amazing weather still. Heard it's going to cool down from tomorrow, but we certainly can't say we havent had a fantastic autumn. People sunbathing and swimming in Saint Cyprien yesterday. Rode there on my bike and burnt the end of my nose!!

Very nearly did but had the Haribo with me (he ran alongside the bike all the way) and wasn't sure how your guys would take it (Pepe and Dylan that is, not Ken  )
He's slept all today today!!

Thats a mighty long way for him. I think our 2 might not have appreciated his presence. Pepe because he will try to fight any dog bigger than him (which is most) and Dylan at 18 has not got time for anything younger than him (which is most).

Another amazing day! Enjoy, if you're here. Make the most of it.

Sending you sunshine thoughts if you're not!

Not a cloud in the sky. Just came back from taking the dog out wearing shorts and vesty top at 730 in the morning - and I'm sweating like a pig!! :D

..."taking the dog out wearing shorts and vesty top..."

He must have looked a picture! Sorry, humour is on a par with "This morning my wife opened the front door in her nightdress"

Went for a walk in Canet yesterday with Rob & our 21 year old grandson, on holiday from Paris. David & I paddled a few minutes in the sea then he spotted 2 swimmers, so he stripped to his underpants and, despite my pleading "David, David...Come back...." off he swam. No towel to warm him up, only a comforting hot coffee and crèpe with masses of chantilly afterwards!

Am on the train going up to London, the sky is grey and gloomy and there is rain in the air. The fields are flooded with all the recent rain we've had. Oh to be back in St Genis.
