We don't often have desert other than yoghurt, bu t tonight we all fancied something sweet. I looked to see if we had chocolate , then IAN asked if we had any custard. We have A Breton cake that was bought for breakfast last week and past its best. Cake and custard.
Youngest pulled her face and declared creme anglaise disgusting.
I made some custard and she watched us enjoying it. She decided to try some ....yummy, that's much better than the runny stuff at lycée.
No comparison to real custard. That will not be repeated again for ages, but boy was it good.
