For anyone who is hesitating at offering or accepting a lift from a stranger, I did this last month and it was a pleasure. Easy pick up at Le Boulou péage, good company to the airport and my tolls paid. Win win situation and I recommend it when and if able.

Of course, I dont know how reciprocal this was as I talk too much and regularly take my eyes off the road - but hey....we got there with no bitten nails or little in-car accidents so it cant have been that bad!
