Canicule on the way out?

Post by Gus Morris »

Yesterday we had a few spots of rain and it was cloudy. As the evening progressed the thermometer started to fall and there was a noticeable drop in humidity levels. If the meteo is to be believed, by the end of the week, average day time temperatures may be 40% down on what they were a week ago.

Oh Joy!

The storm last night was welcome. In fact, as I type, it is back again!

The garden certainly benefited from the arrosage. The local bird life suffered a bit with nests washed out. There were a couple of battered looking swallows perched in our garden with some offspring who looked as though they had learned to fly a little earlier than planned
