post-Brexit situation
A thoughtful piece in today's Guardian. As one who has an Irish passport as well as a British one, I hope I'll be protected if France turns sour in the future, but many do not have the foresight to be born of an Irish parent.

It was always said that I was the offspring of the Reece’s milkman - he had very red hair, as I did in those days. Which could have made him Irish, particularly on Merseyside.
