If there are any legal beagles out there.
Here is a scenario:
2 elderly people have 4 childeren.
one adult child dies and his child (a grandchild to the 2 elderly people) is now an adult.
Does this person (grandchild) have automatic rights to the estate if he is not named in the a written will?
The other 3 direct children of the elderly are named and what is being left to them is specific.
The child that is deceased simply states that what will be left to him will be entered at a later date. I suppose this is because the deceased son had cancer at the time the elderly couple wrote the will.
We will see a professional but I was wondering if someone had clear insight to this.
thanks in advance
