Good hairdressers for the girls
After 6 years of bad haircuts , I have finally found a good hairdressers in Perpignan : Cut , colour, head massage ( I was snoring), soins, blow dry took about 3 hours so give yourself time .. service was excellent, I've a mad mop of hair and they have successfully tamed it.
Saint Karl ( they are a chain so beware, they will try to sell you all kind of products at mad prices) on rue de la Republic in Perpignan.
Have recommended to a number of other gal friends and they were all delira as well ....
Unreal for a place with so many hairdressers that there can be so many bad ones out there.
Also , what is the story with French womens fascination with red hair?

I also recommend Curcuma in Pollestres (half way down down the village on the right going from the Intermarché roundabout). Ask for Christine - she is one of the rare hairdressers I have found who seems to take time to cut rather than snip snip wham bang thank you mam! She doesn't speak English but she can sing the words of Big girls by Mica!!

I wonder if this red hair thing is closely related to the story(myth?) that I grew up with ad a lad in Lancs, that if a woman was wearing a red hat,it signalled that she was not wearing any underwear.
It's to my ultimate regret that I never had the opportunity to discover whether this was indeed a myth......

Well you can safely say then John, that if we are not wearing a red hat...we ARE wearing underwear..john wrote:I wonder if this red hair thing is closely related to the story(myth?) that I grew up with ad a lad in Lancs, that if a woman was wearing a red hat,it signalled that she was not wearing any underwear.
