Rental prices
I'm trying to find out the average monthly rent for a fairly well-sized two-bedroom village house with no outdoor space. Unfurnished but in good order.
Any ideas?

I have been paying €500 a month for a 2-bedroomed gite with access to a 5-acre garden and a pool. It is very well furnished.
Before that, I paid the same for a 2-bedroomed flat overlooking the lagoon at St. Cyprien Plage. The first was just a 6-month winter let, but the second was for 10 months.
I don't think I would pay €500 for an unfurnished village house without a garden, for a year round let. But of course, that doesn't mean that someone else won't!
Have you looked at the adverts locally, or in Seloger?

wot about "all the wine you can drink" as a little come-on?Roger O wrote:Heating included - it has an underground connex to Santiago's distillery!!rbg wrote:400euros would be more realistic I think ? Unless the house is very high spec. What is the surface area?
The elec and gas etc will all have to be certified as "au norme" as well ..
