Perpignan to Barcelona Airport????!!!!!!! Help

Can anyone help? I know getting to Barcelona Airport is not simple, but has anyone done it before with public transport? If so can you help? I have to collect my daughter from there at the end of xmas hols, and need to make sure I can get there and back to Perpignan on the same day. What is the simplest route? Thanks

Frogbus (link on this site) from Perpignan SNCF to Girona airport bus-station, then Barcelona Bus to Barcelona (frequent departures, but not quite sure of details). Then barcelona airport bus (don't know any details, but you could google Barcelona Airport)

I'm sure we've discussed this before. Try using the Search utility Angie.

You can also go by train via Port Bou but it takes a long time, often with a long wait at the border.

Angie,the one thing you don't tell us,and is the crux as to whether this is do-able in the same day,is WHEN your daughter's plane arrives at BCN. If it's late morning to early afternoon it will be possible with ease. On the other hand if its early morning,or late evening,then you'll be struggling tbh.

Sue's suggestion is a good one. A faster way would be by train,changing at Port Bou,and then onto the No 10 Airport train at Passeig de Gracia in Barca city. There are a couple of through Talgo trains from Perps to Barcelona (the morning one leaves at about 09h00),but,as I say above,unles you know what time the plane gets in we are rather in the dark!
