Joe Parker did a wonderful job of cabinet making and fitting to specification. Excellent craftsman who knows how to listen to his client and keep the customer abreast of the project. Super results in oak for this tricky project.
Kitchen Renovation 2022
Well done to Rob Morley and Joe Parker on the completion of our new kitchen in Le Barcares.
As with the previous renovation job Rob did with our shower and toilet rooms late last year, we were very happy with the end result. Rob’s attention to detail and efficient manner made it easy for us to have the job completed from Ireland without any issues.
Rob worked hand-in-hand with Joe Parker of Plateaux-Acryliques. Joe is a very competent young man, very willing, polite and able to perform the task of ordering, assembling and installing the kitchen complete with a Corian worktop he fashioned in his workshop. He also constructed a long wide step for us to allow safe access to our loggia.
They work very well as a team, older and more experienced along with younger and enthusiastic.
We would not hesitate to recommend both Artisans. Well done Guys, it was a pleasure working on this project with you both.

Joe’s youthful appearance belies experience beyond his years. He is punctual, polite and extremely painstaking in his work. He guided us through the basic design, choice of materials and appliances for our kitchen. We were on a very tight time schedule and he was able to keep within it.
We have no hesitation in giving him 5 stars.
On Rob Morley’s recommendation we called in Joe Parker of Sarl Plateaux Acryliques to help with the renovation of our unchanged ‘1970’s’ kitchen. The kitchen area is not large, so we needed advice on what could be done to maximise storage space and worktop area. Once the design, choice of kitchen cupboards and colour of Corian worktops and sinks were decided and price agreed, we didn’t have too long to wait for work to commence. In conjunction with Rob Morley, Joe soon had the old kitchen ripped out. Once Rob had laid the floor tiles and put in all electrical wiring where needed, Joe then returned to fit the kitchen.
We have been extremely pleased with Joe’s standard of workmanship, the quality of the units and especially the Corian worktops and sinks. Joe works hard and pays particular attention to detail, making sure everything fits perfectly; needless to say that we are extremely pleased with the result.
We have no hesitation in recommending Joe to others.
Joe and David have been advising me about the possibility of a new kitchen in the house I’ve just bought. I really appreciated their willingness to listen to my thoughts and concerns and then respond with ideas and solutions. They’re clearly committed to quality craftsmanship yet also adaptable. Both are very approachable.

We recently engaged Sarl Plateaux Acryliques for a renovation project on our kitchen and would highly recommend them both. The work was done in the time frame they indicated and the finishes and attention to detail is fantastic. They came up with some ideas that really worked for the space we have. Joe has just finished doing our kitchen. The job included moving a door and making all the units and worktops. The level of service and attention to detail in understanding exactly what we needed and delivering everything to an extremely high quality was outstanding.
Whilst his father David helped out, Joe was the driving force behind the project.
Nothing was too much trouble and we are very satisfied with the results.
Rob of Morley Renovation worked in conjunction with Joe to do the tiling, plumbing and electrics and also delivered an excellent job.

David and his son Joe did excellent work for us. We needed an entire apartment updated and refreshed. The ceilings are 3 meters high and the previous paint job was less than optimal. The patio door frames had water stains and the baseboards were not finished. David and Joe’s work was immaculate, the ceiling, walls, baseboards and door frames look brand new. Throughout the process, they provided guidance and made recommendations to optimize the space. The communication and feedback was excellent throughout the project.
We highly recommend Dave and Joe for their quality of work, professionalism, reliability and communication. We will certainly use them again in the future.
I’d like to recommend to you all a fantastic local tradesman. David Parker (based in Sorede) is a skilled joiner by training and works with his equally charming son Joe. Although the main focus of their work is fitted kitchens and Corian worktops they seem to be able to turn their hands to the many different aspects of internal renovation.
David took on a relatively small job for us, replacing some rotten floorboards. Sadly for us this grew into a huge and nightmare of a job when the extent of the damage became apparent and I really wouldn’t have blamed him for walking away at that point. But he didn’t desert us and cheerfully pressed on with the project, liaising with other local tradesmen that were also needed.
The house was uninhabitable for a long while but he kept us informed every step of the way with calls, texts, emails and photos, and the end result was impeccable. Our French neighbours went out of their way to stress how impressed they were at how hard David and Joe had been working.

David and Joseph Parker provided an excellent, personalised service and our new Corian kitchen worktop has been much admired. They went the extra mile for us when a problem arose with another tradesman. You genuinely can’t see the joins, it looks like a single piece of marble and is very tactile with a seamless sink. We can unhesitatingly recommend both Plateaux Acryliques and the product Corian.
