British Tea Rooms
This year, you are once again invited to the British tea rooms in Maureillas on Saturday December 3rd.
All proceeds go to the telethon, and each year Maureillas beats all other villages of similar size in the region, for both its tireless work and monetary contribution to this worthy cause.
Apart from that nice feeling of doing something for charity, there is a very selfish reason to attend! Well, quite a long list of reasons really………Scones, sweet and savoury, Victoria sandwiches, shortbreads, home-made biscuits, chocolate and fruit cakes, small Christmas cakes, mince pies, sausage rolls, small iced cakes, sandwiches and home made chutney……. ..along with a nice cuppa and a chance to meet up and chat with both French and British cuppa fans. Great fun for all!
