School holidays in France are organised according to three “holiday zones”, A, B and C, in order to manage the flow of French holidaymakers.
Our region comes under zone C (Montpellier)
ZONE A
Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers.
2nd September 2024 – Rentrée (return to school)
19th October – 4th November 2024 – Toussaint (Autumn half term)
21st December 2024 to 6th January 2025 – Christmas holidays
22nd February – 10th March 2025 – February half term term
19th April – 5th May 2025 – Easter holiday
5th July 2025 – Start of summer holiday
ZONE B
Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Caen, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Rouen, Strasbourg
