U3A-PO Showcase Event
Have you heard of the U3A-PO and wondered what it is they get up to?
To put it simply, we are a group of friends who are trying hard to help our fellow members enjoy life to the full.
The U3A-PO has evolved into a successful, and happy mix of English-speaking members of all nationalities, including French, who live in or visit this lovely area of France.
Currently we have 48 interest groups being run by their coordinators, these range from 10 Pin bowling, A’Mature chefs, Birdwatching , Language learning, Yoga, Pilates , Zumba, walks, rides…. and so much more
In Montesquieu-des-Albères on Wednesday the 16th April 2025 we will be having a Showcase Event where a number of our coordinators will be available to explain exactly what their interest groups do and how you can participate. There will also be information available for any interest groups not represented on the day.
The event will run over a 3 hour period from 14h00 to 17h00 and there will be examples and demonstrations of group activities, a chance to do a little putting practice, a mini book-swap, a quiz for a chance to win gardening tools plus refreshments.
You can come along, have a drink, a bite to eat and find out all about the various activities and interest groups available to members of the U3A-PO
