Abrac’Argelès 2026: A Magical Festival Returns to Argelès-sur-Mer

From 27 October to 8 November 2026, Argelès-sur-Mer will be transformed into a world of magic, illusion and wonder as the town celebrates the fifth edition of its Abrac’Argelès Magic Festival.

With spooky encounters, spectacular live shows and astonishing illusions, this year’s festival promises something for all ages, bringing a touch of magic to the heart of the Mediterranean coast.

Spooky Adventures and Magical Encounters

The festival gets underway from 27 to 31 October at the Casa de l’Albera, where visitors can explore a mysterious Haunted Museum filled with monsters, ghosts and strange creatures. Discover the curious stories behind some of the collection’s objects – if you dare!

For those who prefer a more hands-on adventure, the Cursed Museum promises an opportunity to hunt for ghosts and uncover its secrets.

On 31 October, the magic continues at the Jaurès Cinema with a special appearance by Hery Putter, the famous magic professor, who will deliver an extraordinary crash course in magic. Who knows how many budding magicians will be discovered in the audience?

Magic will also make its way into the streets, with Christophe Hery performing among the stalls at the town and port markets.

Three Unmissable Magic Shows

The festival’s main events take place at the Espace Jean-Carrère from 6 to 8 November, featuring three spectacular evenings of entertainment.

6 November: The Magic Gala

Five talented magicians – Stéphane Pasche, Jean-Philippe Loupi, Jimmy Delp, Patrice Kurt and Kevin Mystère – will take to the stage for an exceptional gala packed with astonishing tricks, surprises and captivating illusions.

7 November: Mathieu Stepson

Winner of France’s Got Talent (La France a un Incroyable Talent) in 2024, Mathieu Stepson will present a spectacular show blending illusion, fiction and mentalism. With a science-fiction-inspired atmosphere, his performance promises to challenge perceptions and leave audiences wondering what is real.

8 November: The French Twins

The festival closes in spectacular style with The French Twins, finalists on America’s Got Talent and stars of France’s Got Talent.

Renowned for their innovative digital magic, the duo combine augmented reality, artificial intelligence and breathtaking illusions to create a modern, immersive experience where technology and magic meet.
