Espadrille Throwing Championships

Sure to become a key event on the Catalan summer calendar, the first Espadrille Throwing Championships will be held in Square Bir Hakeim in Perpignan on Saturday 27th May.

Rules: 3 attempts to throw the espadrille as far as possible!

Qualifications will take place from 9.30am to 2pm, with the top 15 throwers then going through to the elimination round at 3pm, where the grand champion will be revealed.

Open to everyone, this is a family event and as such there will additional entertainment and refreshments available throughout the day.

A donation will be made from the proceeds to Aziza Le Sourire d’Ange; a charity the supports children and families of children with cancer and leukemia.
