Festival d’Astronomie

From Thursday 13th to Monday 17th August, as the scorching sun sinks behind the mountains, head to the Palais des Congrès in Tautavel for the Festival d’Astronomie : unique and exciting evenings of discovery.

Observe and contemplate the wonders of the night sky, learn about the summer constellations and make a wish on a shooting star… all absolutely FREE.

But no need to wait for dusk to join in the actions- workshops and activities will be taking place throughout the day from 2pm.

Make a sun dial, or a water-propulsed rocket, discover the legends and secrets of the Milky Way, you can even win your very own Dobson telescope in the tombola!
