If you sing or play with a band, dance company or entertainment of any kind, or know of a great act that deserves some recognition, this could well be your (or their) big chance.
Perpignan is creating a new music festival for 2016, ‘les Musicales de Perpignan 2016’. The aim is to support local talent and to help artistes to become known to the widest possible public.
The open air festival will take place on Tuesday 5, 19, 26 July and 2 August 2016, two shows per day at 19h and 21h in the place Gambetta, opposite the cathédrale Saint-Jean. The selected musicians will be under contract and paid by the ville de Perpignan. They will also be fed and watered on the night of their performance and given travelling expenses if travelling more than 30 km.
Candidates will be selected by a committee from the commune and should contact the organisers before 1st February 2016
