Fête de l’Huile d’Olive
For more than 20 years, the commune of Sorède and the Chamber of Agriculture have organised the annual Fête de l’huile d’olive, a much-loved celebration that continues to grow in popularity each year.
This friendly springtime event brings together passionate olive oil producers alongside a wonderful selection of local terroir products, offering visitors the chance to discover regional savoir-faire and meet the people behind the flavours.
Join us in the gardens of the Mairie on Sunday 12th April from 10am to 6pm for a relaxed and festive day out.
Stroll through the open-air farmers’ market, amidst stalls of olive oils, tapenades, olives, honeys, jams, wines, fruit juices, almonds, cheeses, meats, saffron and plants. Enjoy the aromas, sample the specialities, and find inspiration for your table.
Throughout the day, soak up the atmosphere with traditional sardanes, live music, prizes to be won, and plenty of tastings. Stay for lunch, linger with friends, and celebrate the richness of our local produce.
