Strikes planned from Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th December

Stock up on sherry and hoard the hams because Carrefour supermarkets across France will be closed for strikes from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th December.

Potentially causing Christmas chaos, trade union, CGT, has called for employees nationwide to stage a walk-out in protest of restructuring proposals.

Other supermarkets are not affected.
