Perpignan shops will be open for Christmas shoppers on Sunday 3rd, 10th and 17th December
There will also be free parking in Wilson, Arago, Saint-Martin and Catalogne covered carparks in the city centre.
The Christmas markets in Perpignan (places Gambetta, République and Victoire) will also be open daily until 24th December.
Most large supermarkets will be open on those dates.
On those days, there will be street entertainment (stilt walkers, fairies handing out sweets, giant teddies….)
All the big supermarkets (Carrefour, Auchan, Intermarché, Champion etc) will be closed on Christmas day and New Year’s Day but open as usual at all other times.
During the weekends approaching Christmas, many shops will open later and on Sundays. Smaller shops will be open at the discretion of the owner but closed on Christmas day and New Year’s Day, apart from bakeries and local corner shops which may well open in the morning.
