Annual Potters’ Market Céret & Banyuls
12th August 2020 - 13th August 2020

Pottery Market
The annual Céret marché des potiers is the largest pottery market in the Pyrénées-Orientales and one of the biggest craft dates on the region’s calendar.
It takes place every year on the 12th and 13th of August in the heart of Céret, in the shade of the plane trees of place de la République.
Organised by the association of professional ceramists Tour d’Argile (Clay Tower), 30 ceramists from all over France are selected on the basis of quality and creativity and given the opportunity to present their work to the public.
Displaying clay in all its forms, the public is guaranteed to find talented craftsmen or women, presenting unique and inspiring pieces. You can even watch demonstrations at the pop-up workshop.
Raku, earthenware, stoneware, crystallization, utilitarian and ornamental objects, sculptures… the range of ceramics on offer is truly a spectacle to behold.
Visitors can vote for their favourite piece/artist, with the winner announced and awarded a prize at the end of the weekend.
Wednesday 12th – Thursday 13th, Place du Barrí, Céret
