Fête des Pêcheurs

Each year, at the height of the summer, the port of Saint Cyprien comes alive for a mid-summer celebration of the sea.

Heavily reliant on the sparking big blue, for tourism and for fishing, the town pays homage to its greatest asset and to the hardworking folk who make their living from the water, particularly those lost at sea.

As the sun begins to set, head to the beautiful port to enjoy a tasty and festive sardinade (sardines on the BBQ) before a spectacular 20 minute pyrotechnic display sees thousands of projectiles fired into the sky.
