MOBILE BIKE MECHANIC Bicycle service, repair, upgrades at your home or place of work “Mountain bikes, electric bikes, kids’ bikes, road bikes…..if it has two wheels and pedals, I can get it riding like new again”
Hi, I’m Chris Bratherton at Pyrenees Cycling Club , a guest house for cyclists near Arles-sur-Tech. I’m a Cytech trained cycle repair technician and have been repairing bikes for 16 years .
I operate a mobile cycle repair service in the P-O, for all kinds of bikes and all kinds of cyclists.
Whether you’ve got a new electric bike or you’re dusting off that old faithful from deep within your garage, I can get your bike running perfectly. My mobile workshop has all the tools required to work on a variety of bikes. I can work on your bike anywhere you wish (if you ask a service with a full clean water supply will be required). If you’re in the Vallespir or Alberes, it’s likely you’ll see me on our electric cargo bike!
For those of you who aren’t in the P-O. full time, or have bikes that you make available to your guests, I can arrange a visit before you arrive to ensure none of your holiday time is spent at the bike shop.
My mobile service covers: the Vallespir from Prats-de-Mollo to Argeles , the Alberes/Cote Vermeille and up to Perpignan . There is a 15€ call out charge to these areas including the assessment of work required, and transportation of your bike to the workshop if new parts are required. Please ask for a quotation to check call out charges, with no obligation. When I can work on multiple bikes at a single location, the call out charge is shared.
Cyclists of the Tet and Agly valleys, unfortunately the travel time can be too great for a single bike service but I’d be happy to send you a quotation to schedule a visit to service two or more bikes. Where I can share journeys, reduce our impact on the environment and on your pocket, we can coordinate multiple bike services in the same area.

I will send you a quotation for any parts required and await your approval. The price quoted will not change once you have approved it.
