we have been hiring Ute to redo the Lime mortar (Chou) and plaster work in our stone walled house. Her work is exemplary and we are especially impressed with how well she protects the rest of the house while she works and how well she cleans up at the end. it has been a thoroughl worthwile exercise, both in the improvement in finish but also with the process of exposing and repairing the myriad cracks that develop in walls so old. Highly recommended

I had the absolute pleasure of working together with Ute in our very old stone home. I learned an enormous amount about chaux, the different types, what to use where, mixtures with various sand colours and grades. Of course this was a tiny, tiny part of Ute’s knowledge, which she gladly shared.
I thank her for allowing me to play for a few days at throwing the chaux, while she did the more difficult and important work.
Ute is a skilled, dedicated and very hard working plasterer. She has done some amazing work on our old house, beautifully plastering a four story curved staircase, and restoring some very badly decayed walls. She’s also done exterior work in the traditional riverstone style. Her work lasts, not least because she gets the preparation right, which is the really important bit. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
First Class or in wine terms Premier Cru Lady plasterer. You only have to look at the pictures to see the attention to detail and ability to read the contours of the building….. Highly Recommended indeed!!!!…. Richard W.
