For the moment, it only covers Paris and the Limousin region, but it is hoped that ‘Patrim’, managed by the ‘Direction générale des finances publiques’ (DGFiP) will cover the whole of France by the end of the year, with the exception of Alsace, Moselle and Mayotte.
The assessment is for residential properties, and makes administrative information available which you might normally have to find at the mairie.
To use it, type in : type de bien (eg flat or house), superficie, (surface area) localisation, (location) and a few other details.
The results should present a list of recent property sales in that area during a given period.
The use of this served is limited to 50 consultations per person per three months.
