Vide greniers

If you love a good car boot sale (or you’ve got a few things at home you’d like to clear out), it’s well worth checking out the vide-greniers happening around the region. Most take place on Sundays, and they’re a brilliant way to pick up bargains, discover hidden gems, and enjoy a morning out.

If you’d like to sell at a vide-grenier, you’ll usually need to register in advance and provide proof of identity when signing up. For details, contact the mairie or tourist office in the commune where the vide-grenier is being held.

Perpignan (Allées Maillol) – Saturday morning brocante with professional antique, vintage and collectables traders. Please note that the regular market on 5th September is replaced by the large city-centre brocante.

Perpignan (Quai Sébastien Vauban) – Wednesday book and collectables market.

Rivesaltes (Karting Roussillon) – Sunday vide-grenier on the Karting Roussillon car park, opposite Carrefour Claira.

Villelongue-de-la-Salanque – Sunday vide-grenier behind the children’s park.

Collioure (Château Royal) – Salon des Antiquaires, bringing professional antiques dealers to the Château Royal over the long weekend.
