This walk is not too difficult, but it is quite long, taking us about 5 hours in total (with a sandwich stop for lunch!). It is approx 10.5km long with about 500m of ascent and descent.

Losing our Lunch. Old dogs and non-spring chickens will remember a time when lunch in France was ‘slow food only’, a minimum 2 hours, even at work or school, and fast food was practically unheard of.

We are undoubtedly spoilt for fabulous ‘stations balnéaires’ (seaside resorts) here in the P-O , but many of them are all about the beach and the sea itself – which means there’s not much going on in winter and early spring. Saint Cyprien however is an all-year-rounder.
