There are loads of different ways of improving your French. We all learn differently, but as we grow older, one of the greatest blocks to learning is memory. We  find it more and more difficult to remember grammar and vocabulary —-and yet many of us can still sing along to new songs heard just a handful of time – and remember the tune and the words!

Here’s another in the ’SING IT’ series……as usual, you are sure to recognise the tune.

Most people have heard ‘White Christmas’ at some time in their lives. This 1942 Irving Berlin originally sung by Bing Crosby is the world’s best-selling single and one of the most covered songs of all time, also interpreted by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, The Supremes, Lady Gaga, Jessie J, The Drifters, Bette Midler, and many others.

Of course there is a French version adapted by Francis Blanche and interpreted by a whole host of French and international singers, amongst whom Tino Rossi, Gérard Lenorman, Eddy Mitchell, Céline Dion, Dalida, Sacha Distel….
