We all learn differently. There are loads of different ways of improving your French, and one of them is by singing along with the lyrics of songs we already know.  As we grow older, one of the greatest blocks to learning is memory, and yet many of us can still sing along to new songs – and remember the words!

Here’s another in the Sing it series……and many of you ‘of a certain age’ will recognise it immediately. Originally recorded by Melanie and released in 1970 as the B-side of her “Ruby Tuesday” single, the French cover version was sung by Egyptian born French singer and actress, Dalida. The lyrics, adapted in French of course to suit the music, are quite different from the original, but vocabulary is simple, repetitive and easy to follow.
