Christmas village and winter entertainment
For Christmas 2018, the renowned Christmas village in Le Barcarès has changed sites. Bigger and brighter than ever before, the village now spreads across the sprawling gardens of the Lydia, also home to France’s biggest electro music festival in the summer.
The new site now includes not one but two ice skating rinks with organisers claiming they provide ideal, supervised skating conditions for beginners and the more experienced.
With DJ, music and light shows, you are sure to enjoy happy skating and the festive atmosphere!
The surrounding ‘village magique’ is built amongst an enchanted snowy pine forest, teeming with penguins and other surprises. Whizz down the purpose-built sledge run, soar high above the chalets on the grande roue, marvel at the Santa parades and fireworks…
And of course, enjoy a little tipple at one of the many bars and restaurants, open until 2am!
