Wow…my cumulus was tripping the electrics. So on Sunday evening I contacted Stéphane via email to ask if he could come and look at it/fix it. He phoned me shortly afterwards and asked for some photos. Photos duly sent he sent back a devis and said he would be here 09.30. on Monday. I agreed to the devis and he turned up Monday morning and a few hours later the new cumulus was installed and working.
Needless to say I was very impressed with him, his knowledge and his service. His English is very good and he drinks tea…

I have hired VNELEC for a bathroom makeover project (new shower, sink, tile, fan, built-in spots, mirror and towel rack). M. Nguyen invested much time in listening to my needs and to the specifics of my project, which I really appreciated. The renovation went very well. M. Nguyen is an excellent communicator: he’s always let me know when he would show up to work on the bathroom. He’s a very good project coordinator whenever other contractors had to work on the premises. I’m glad I didn’t have to contact other people to finalize this project: M. Nguyen was in charge. I’m very happy with the work that meets all my expectations. Without hesitation, I would hire him again for future projects.
Stephane did a list of electrical and plumbing works for us this year in Collioure. We found him to be very efficient. Trustworthy, helpful in his recommendations, punctual and easy to understand as his level of English is good —we highly recommend Stephane
Stephane has now renovated 3 bathrooms for us and a small kitchenette as well as various other plumbing/electrical works. He has always given us lots of options and different suppliers to look at before we made any final decisions and we often put him through his paces with our design choices! He is patient and takes his time to go into the details. He has excellent experience and a huge bank of contacts so can advise appropriately. All work has been undertaken to the highest standard and we’re so grateful to have met him. Would highly recommend!
Stéphane has just upgraded our shower room with a walk-in, rainfall head shower, beautifully tiled with a useful shelf, electric towel rail, new basin, tap and loo seat. It all looks modern, clean and warm.
Stéphane did prompt and excellent work, has a friendly manner, offers lots of appropriate and useful advice and, of course, as he speaks good English, there are no mis-translation problems. We found him very reliable, kept us informed of how long things were going to take and highly recommend him.
Stéphane has recently renovated two shower rooms and done various other electrical works for us. His work from first meeting us, producing proposals and quotes through to completing the jobs has been excellent and he takes a lot of care to ensure everything is finished correctly.
He is also a really kind person who goes out of his way to help with all sorts of things. His English is very good and he even helped me with my French put up with my French it along the way.
He also introduced me to VB Clim (Philippe Baillon) who has installed air con for us, again very friendly and a quick and tidy job.
I would definitely recommend Stéphane and Philippe.

Recently we encountered a problem with our forage. Stephane managed to solve the problem quickly and remotely even though he had never seen the installation before. Highly recommended.
Hi, we have known Stephane for 10 years. He has rewired our electrics, installed a new water heater, installed lighting fixtures, fans, and he has renovated our bathroom and WC. He speaks English fluently, and is an all-around good chap, and does excellent work.
One night recently, we lost power to our refrigerator, and several other appliances and light fixtures when a fuse blew, and after flipping all the fuses belonging to that interrupter there was still one which we could not reset. Since everything that we could see seemed to be up and running just fine again, we decided that that fuse wasn’t so important and didn’t think anything more about it for the moment. It was a day later, when we suddenly discovered that we had very little hot water that we realized that that uncooperative fuse belonged to our hot water heater.
We tried to contact several plumbers to get someone to make an emergency visit and the only one who called us back was Stéphane Nguyen, who spoke excellent English, and promised that he would come out in an hour or so. Stephane did indeed show up within the hour, quickly discovered what had caused the short circuit, and resolved the problem, which, thankfully, for the moment, did not require replacing the water heater that, at 13 years old, is probably near the end of its life cycle. Now we have plenty of hot water again!
Stephane is clearly knowledgeable, and very pleasant as well, and we would highly recommend him.

Over several years we had tried to get a an electrician to carry out a number of electrical jobs done. The first , organised by our builder, never appeared. The next two came round, took notes of the work and that was the last we heard of them. The fourth, whom we knew, came round to scope the job and even sat in the garden and had a beer and a chat with us. But that was the last we heard from him.
Then we saw Stéphane’s ad in P-O Life and contacted him. What a contrast! He came round on the arranged day, took notes, made helpful suggestions, promptly emailed a detailed devis, liaised with our plasterer, started the job on time, organised a plumber as needed, and completed the work efficiently and to a high standard. Efficient, effective, speaks English very well and has a pleasant manner. We can thoroughly recommend him.
