Language tip
TEMPS, HEURE OR FOIS?
All three of these words mean ‘time’, but have very specific usage
Temps = can either mean ‘time’ or ‘weather’ (in which case it is usually accompanied by the verb faire)
Je ne sais pas si j’ai le temps de jouer au tennis?
Quel temps fait-il?
Heure = refers to clock time
Quelle heure est-il? Il est cinq heures
Fois = refers to something which occurs once or several times
Je suis allé deux fois à Perpignan
