Winter/spring 2014 – Caféclat, literary café at theTempliers
The last Friday of each month, Caféclat invites writers to present their books and share their love for the written word.
Meet at the first floor of the Café Templiers, Collioure from 18h30 to
20h00. Admission is free.
31 January – Alain Llense will speak about his novel « Frères », which explores the paradoxical and mysterious relationship between two brothers. Editions Talaia.

28 February – Helene Legrais will present her latest novel« La guerre des cousins Buscail ». In 1928 when hydroelectric power arrives in Capcir two cousins take opposing sides. Calmann-Lévy.

25 April – San Jordi Slam – in honor of Sant Jordi (the Catalan celebration of books and roses) – Cafeclat invites writers to read their own texts. Limit: 3 minutes. Sign up at the door.

30 May – Gildas Girodeau, will speak about the life and work of the writer Patrick O’Brian who lived and worked in Collioure for 50 years. 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of his birth. The talk will be followed by a concert at l’Ermitage de Consolation featuring the music that O’Brian listened to while he wrote about his heroes Aubrey and Maturin. In French and English and the universal language of music.

Hiver/printemps 2014 – Caféclat- Café littéraire aux Templiers
Le dernier vendredi de chaque mois, Caféclat invite des écrivains à présenter leurs œuvres et à partager leur amour pour le mot juste.
Rendez-vous au premier étage du café des Templiers, Collioure de 18h30 à 20h00. Entrée libre.
31 janvier – Alain Llense parlera de son roman « Frères », une relation pleine de surprise entre deux frères, si proches mais aussi si lointains. Editions Talaia.

28 février – Helene Legrais présentera son livre « La guerre des cousins Buscail ». Deux cousins vachers du Capcir ont les avis divergents face au progrès apporté par le premier barrage hydroélectrique de la région en 1928. Calmann-Lévy

30 mai – Gildas Girodeau, parlera de la vie et l’œuvre du l’écrivain Patrick O’Brian qui a habité et écrit à Collioure pendant 50 ans. 2014 est le centième anniversaire de sa naissance. La présentation sera suivie d’un concert à l’Ermitage de Consolation de la musique qui accompagna O’Brian quand il écrivit de ses héros Aubrey et Maturin.
