I’m very pleased to say that the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, held in Maureillas last Friday, raised over €400. This was a joint event between Macmillan and CSF. Thank you to everyone who baked, helped and went along to give their support. The final results will be announced soon.
Wednesday 1 October – Cerèt – 10.30-12
Pablo’s Bar is open for business as usual on the Place Picasso. Take a pause from your daily routine and come and join us for coffee and a chat. There’ll a Book Exchange for those of you who want to exchange your summer reading for something for those evenings in front of the fire!
Wednesday 15 October – Ille-sur-Têt – 10-12
Come for Lunch at Lizzie’s Kitchen. Lizzie is going to provide a simple lunch for us, starting at 12 noon. For €10 there will be a main course, a glass of wine and coffee to follow. If you come a little earlier, you can browse through the books.

Come to the Café des Artistes. We’ll be there to welcome anyone who wants to chat over coffee and rummage through the books! If you’ve got some well-thumbed summer paperbacks, now’s the time to exchange them for something to take you through the winter.

Vaincre le Cancer – Une Journée d’Information et d’Echange
The aim of the day is to present to the public the different preventative measures, the most recent therapy developments and patient support throughout the treatment. Health professionals will be there to address different themes and to answer all your questions. You are welcome to take part in several conferences. (Full details are attached)

A Christmas Market
Local Crafts and Traditional English Produce – Wine Tasting – Mince Pies and Mulled Wine – Carol Singing – Father Christmas
CSF will be here again this year. Lots of Christmas fare, Christmas cards, gifts, books and a Raffle. Join us and bring family and friends.
