Easter Services at St George’s Anglican Church, Vernet-les-Bains
St George’s Anglican Church in Vernet-les-Bains will be marking Holy Week and Easter 2026 with a series of special services offering time for prayer, reflection and celebration.
Three services are planned across the Easter weekend, each with a different focus — commemorating the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, reflecting on the meaning of Good Friday, and celebrating the resurrection on Easter Sunday.
All services take place at St George’s Anglican Church, Vernet-les-Bains, and visitors are welcome to attend.
Maundy Thursday – Agàpé Meal
Thursday 3 April – 12:00 noon
Holy Week begins with a shared Agàpé meal, recalling the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples.
The gathering will include prayers and readings before and during a “bring and share” meal, followed by a short service of Holy Communion.
Those wishing to attend the meal are asked to RSVP by 29 March.

Good Friday – A Time to Reflect
Friday 3 April – 12:00 – 13:00
The Good Friday service offers a reflective moment during Holy Week through guided meditation, sacred music, prayer and readings.
The service provides a quiet space to reflect on the significance of the day.
Coffee and fellowship will follow.
Easter Sunday – Celebration Service
Sunday 5 April – 10:00
A Holy Communion service will take place on Easter Sunday, officiated by Reverend Roy Cole, celebrating the message of renewal and hope associated with Easter.
Coffee and refreshments will be served after the service.
