Easter Sunday – 16th April at 10am
Holy Communion 10.00 am St.George’s Church, Rue du Temple, Vernet-les-Bains.
The service is in English and is open to all whatever your denomination…. or none. Please come and share fellowship and worship the God who loves you.
As with Christmas Jesus is the reason for the season. Come and find out about the faith of Christianity and share fellowship with the congregation. We don’t only meet on a Sunday but we meet once a month for a shared meal, and we share individually in various hobbies too.
No matter who you are, or what you have or have not done in your life God loves and wants you to know his love, so come along you will find a warm welcome.
You will find a warm welcome – and we usually go to one of the bars on the place after the service for coffee
ABOUT ST.GEORGE’S CHURCH VERNET-LES-BAINS
There has been an English church in Vernet-Les-Bains for a hundred years, founded by the likes of Rudyard Kipling and others. Over the years, St.George’s, the only Anglican church in the PO, fell into disuse but it has now re-opened, not only as a place of worship for the British community of the area, and any none British who would like to join, but it also as a cultural centre, for the benefit of the Vernet community and area as a whole – French and expats of all religions and nationalities.
The church is on Rue de Temple and is near the casino.
