Fête Américaine – Welcome to “Los Argelès”!

Over the Easter weekend from 4 to 6 April 2026, Argelès-sur-Mer will once again transform into a little slice of America for the 20th edition of the Fête Américaine.

Organised in collaboration with local businesses around Plage Centrale, this lively event celebrates all things American with three days of music, dancing, entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Visitors can enjoy line dancing, live music, demonstrations and colourful performances, while classic Harley-Davidsons and American cars line the streets. There will also be plenty of opportunities to discover American culture through themed displays, shows and a vibrant market atmosphere.

With the sea as a backdrop and spring sunshine (hopefully!) in the air, the Fête Américaine is the perfect excuse to visit Argelès before the busy summer season arrives. After enjoying the festivities, why not round off the day with a meal at one of the many excellent restaurants along the seafront?

Expect a fun-filled weekend celebrating the music, food and spirit of the USA — right here on the Mediterranean coast.
