MORE ABOUT THE PETIT TRAIN JAUNE
For passengers travelling from Perpignan, musicians Canto Nudo perform outside the station at 7.45am, before the 8.09am train. After another performance at Villefranche–Vernet-les-Bains, visitors continue aboard the Train Jaune to Joncet.
The day includes La Grande Fanfare, a two-hour Jazzèbre concert by Cornelius, sheepdog demonstrations, local producers, an exhibition and talks about pastoralism and pollution.
A special €5 fare each way is offered between Villefranche-de-Conflent and Joncet, but places are limited. Be aware that the Maison du Parc is a 20–30-minute walk from Joncet station. Parking at the site is also limited.
