Celebrate International Women’s Day with a Free Strength Session from FIT 66

8th March

International Women’s Day, celebrated globally on March 8th, is a time to recognise the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is also a reminder that progress toward gender equality continues to rely on collective action and support.

First marked in 1911, the day began with women standing together to demand fairer working conditions, voting rights and equal opportunities. More than a century later, that same spirit of solidarity and empowerment continues around the world.

To mark the occasion, FIT 66 is inviting women to celebrate strength in a very practical way – by building it.

A free live 30-minute resistance training session will take place online this Thursday morning, offering participants the chance to start the day feeling strong, energised and connected with others.

The session is designed to be accessible for all fitness levels, whether you are new to strength training or already active.

All you need:

  • A pair of dumbbells (or filled water bottles)

  • An internet connection and Zoom

At FIT 66, the philosophy is simple:
“Your greatest wealth is your health.”

The idea behind the session is that when women build physical strength, they also build confidence, resilience and independence.
