Vintage Vehicles

Organised by Perpignan Grand Prix Association, La Nuit des Longs Capots (Vintage Car Rally) brings together over 70 ‘beautiful bodies’  –  vintage vehicles representing sports cars produced since the 1950s.

Two categories are on offer:

1. Navigation- crews are required to follow a set itinerary
2. Regularity- the main event in which as well as navigation, speed is checked at secret check points… competitors passing through too early or too late receive penalties!

Crews are composed of a driver, responsible for reading the terrain and ensuring the regularity of the race, and a navigator who must read and decipher the notes provided by organisers… no mean feat!
