Perpignan International Dog Show
The region’s number one doggy beauty contest!
The Perpignan International Dog Show, organised by the Association Canine Territoriale du Languedoc-Roussillon, is taking place this coming weekend, 25th and 26th January 2020 in Perpignan
Doggy people will love this dogfest open to pure-bred dogs, from chihuahuas to Great Danes, who will be judged according to recognised breed standards representing the ideal conformation and characteristics for that breed.
Canine competitors will be put through their paces by international judges from ten European countries in the following categories:
– Best of breed, group and show
– Best of age by category: young dog, best champion, best puppy, best baby, best veteran
– Best couple, best pair, best pack and best breeder
The event runs from 9am to 6pm on both days with the best dogs of the day presented in the ring at 3pm.
Food and drink will be available on site.
Entry is 5 euros but under 13s go free.
If you’re going along, please note that you are not allowed to take your own dogs into the exhibition grounds.
