Remembrance Day service, Vernet-Les-Bains
13th of November
The Anglican Church of Vernet Les Bains holds a service of Holy Communion in English every week, beginning at 10.00am.
We have moved for the winter months to the chapel beside the Tourist Office just below the Place in the centre of Vernet.
Thanks to the kindness of our Catholic friends.
On the 13th of November, during the service, there will be a short act of remembrance. There will be poppies of all sorts for sale and as there has been so much bad press about charities purporting to support injured service men and women, not passing on the funds where it is needed. Buying a poppy is guaranteed to get the funds to those in need.
