From mid-November Across the region	Christmas markets. Yes, that’s right, all you early birds can get in the festive spirit with the first marchés de Noël.

Sunday 3rd Sorède	Néolous Trail & Trail du Château d’Ultrera. Trail running event in the Albère hills above Sorède. Contact the Office de Toursime for more info.
Sunday 3rd, 1.30pm Caves Byrrh, Thuir	Best Sommelier of France Awards. Three finalists (2 French and 1 American) battle it out to be crowned best sommelier. Finals start at 1.30pm followed by a ‘cocktail dinatoire’ at 6pm. Entrance fee including dinner: 35€. Website & bookings.
