Le Mondial Presents Wild with Cheryl Strayed
is honoured to host a very special evening on September 24th at 18h00, featuring a screening of the Academy Award–nominated film Wild, directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and starring Reese Witherspoon in one of her most celebrated roles.
Adapted from the international bestselling memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed, the film tells the extraordinary true story of a woman who, after personal tragedy and loss, sets out to hike more than a thousand miles alone on the Pacific Crest Trail. What begins as a test of endurance becomes a journey of healing, courage, and self-discovery that has inspired millions of readers and viewers around the world.
The evening will be made even more memorable with the presence of Cheryl Strayed, not only the author of Wild but also of the beloved essay collection Tiny Beautiful Things.

This event is presented in conjunction with the Come to Your Senses Writing Retreat, where Cheryl Strayed is the featured guest author. Her visit to Collioure offers audiences a rare chance to connect with her literary and creative vision in an intimate setting.
Please join us for an evening of cinema, conversation, and reflection in the heart of Collioure. Attendees will gain not only the experience of seeing Vallée’s stunning adaptation on the big screen, but also the rare privilege of hearing from Cheryl Strayed herself about the transformative journey behind the story.
