Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping.
Simply going out to Intermarché has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don’t be naive enough to think it couldn’t happen to you or your friends.

One walker slipped and caused an avalanche when 4 of them were out walking with a guide at Porta. It swept all 4 of them downhill and 1 walker broke his ankle but 3 others were lucky enough to escape injury.

‘Après le Brexit, la Frantie (ou la sortance…?)’ According to a survey carried out by Elabe for Atlantico, a relatively new media group, only 26% of French people believe there are more advantages than disadvantages…

I go out walking with a group of friends most weekends. A lot of the time we are up in the mountains with a picnic when lunch comes around, but we’ve had a series of landmark birthdays in the group (everything one ending in 0 from 40 to 70) which has led us to investigate walks with restaurants on route and I thought that I’d share them with you.

France continues to bring in new initiatives in an attempt to cut down the mountains of paperwork involved in pretty much anything official. Whilst it has been possible to pay parking and speeding fines online…

UPDATE Coco is back!!!! She arrived half an hour ago, dirty and tired but alive and home!! I’m so happy, this week has been awful! A huge thank you to everyone who gave their support…
