Place de l’Abbé Bousquet., Saint Laurent de Cerdans
Fête de la Sort. A weekend of Catalan tradition, music and dancing in Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans. Saturday brings a pétanque competition, while Sunday includes a cobla-led mass, blessing of the berenes, sardanes, a communal lunch and a folklore performance by the Danseurs Catalans. Full programme.

Pyrenean Warriors Open Air X.The 10th edition of Torreilles’ traditional heavy-metal festival brings nine bands to the Site de Juhègues, including Magnum, Fifth Angel, Sortilège, Sumerlands and Picture. Collioure
Festival de Fanfares. Collioure’s streets, port and Faubourg fill with brass bands and roaming musical performances for a free, family-friendly weekend of music. Saturday performances run from 11.30am to 1.30pm and 6pm to 8pm; Sunday performances run from 11.30am to 2.30pm, followed by a closing concert at 4.30pm in Place du 18 Juin. Full programme
