Some time ago I set myself a personal goal of replacing the usual supermarket sourced inhabitants of my wine cellar with P-O wines.

I realised I was surrounded by vines yet knew nothing about the wines. Even less regarding local artisan ales. The response to my modest P-O Life jottings suggests there are fellow travellers out there on a similar quest.

It’s winter, it’s flu season, it’s time for the local reds to step up. I’ve found a few absolute corkers, for example Andy Cook’s efforts over at Tramontane wines.

What would you suggest and why? Why not pop into our WINE FORUM  for a chat about local wines, the terroir, the winemakers…..?
